May Meeting & Event Follow-Up

Bob Davis said it best, “great event, great folks… thanks for inviting me. I had a blast.” It seems the other 40+ business representatives in attendance found the May 15th interactive meeting very informative too!

Held at the Top of the Daytona Restaurant & Lounge located at 2625 S. Atlantic Avenue, DBSBA members and guests were treated by manager/owner Maria Sousa and staff to true southern hospitality.

Several people had never been up to the 29th floor of the Peck Tower and are now “truly impressed” with the restaurant. The food and beverage staff went above and beyond welcoming and feeding the attendees. Guests included Don Poor of Ocean Center and several DBCVB (Convention Visitor Bureau) staff attended. Visit Top of Daytona for daily specials!

After the social hour and wonderful spread of food, speaker Bob Davis shared statistics and ideas on how to market ourselves as the beach town we already are, about making a statement, moving forward and aligning together.  Most importantly that a few people can’t do it alone. VOLUNTEER
